Advanced Dental Technology Dublin

Remaining at the Forefront of Dental Technology

With dentists who provide services that extend beyond the preventive, restorative, and cosmetic solutions that are commonly available, we combine our expertise with the most advanced dental technologies on the market. Our commitment to stay at the forefront of these innovations allows us to integrate more effective and comfort-focused solutions to deliver a more positive patient experience. If you would like to learn more about the technologies we use in-house, read below.

Digital Impressions

Dental crowns, veneers, clear aligners, sleep apnea appliances, and other similar restorations can be easily crafted thanks to our 3shape Trios digital impression system. Instead of using cold dental putty that was often messy and gag-worthy, we use a handheld scanner that takes images of your teeth and gums, projecting them onto a chairside monitor so they create a three-dimensional model. Not only is this more accurate than traditional impressions, but technicians can precisely craft your new restoration with greater assurance.

Intraoral Cameras

While examining your mouth during a general checkup and cleaning, our dentists will employ our Mouthwatch intraoral camera. As a simple, handheld device that shows real-time images of your teeth and gums on a chairside monitor, you can view what is happening inside your mouth while one of our dentists explains ways to take better care of your smile. If we detect any signs of dental decay, cavities, or gum disease, we will further explain the problem and which method of treatment will be most effective in improving your oral health.

Digital X-Rays

Traditional radiographs emitted higher levels of radiation, required time in a darkroom, and often produced lackluster images. Fortunately, advancements in dentistry now make it possible for us to take digital X-rays of your smile. Not only are they much safer for children and adults, but they take only minutes to capture high-resolution scans of your oral anatomy, allowing our team to see what is above and below the gum line. Also, because they are digital files, we can quickly store and retrieve them without spending precious time looking through a file cabinet!
